Capturing the essence of the Koli women at Sassoon Docks in Mumbai, Chatterjee portrays the daily rituals she observed during her morning visits to the dock. Two of two panels, this work depicts the end of a workday for the Koli women. ‘There Is No Holiday’ shows them closing shop and packing up for the day, before returning home, and buying vegetables for dinner on the way.
