‘A Summer Afternoon,’ captures a scene in the summertime- one is enjoying a kulfi amidst lively conversation. A representation of Chatterjee’s own family, both saris used in this work are very special to her; one belonged to her mother and the other to her grandmother. The scroll features warm, bright yellows and blues adorned with delicate yellow flowers, evoking the essence of a sunny day.
