The Mappa Mundi series maps the routine of daily journeys, and embeds within it the clay from each of the cities that the artist inhabits – Mumbai and Singapore. It is overlaid with the paths travelled through time in the mind’s eye and the transient nature of memory as she traces her routes, filling and lining them with fine gold, borrowing from the Japanese technique of Kintsugi.
