With reimagined mirror image elephantine forms, and their seemingly overburdened shoulders, and how it will soon be destructively overwhelmed. It is a commentary on how the environment is at the behest of short sighted human destructive activities, with a finite capacity for taking in the amount of damage being met out. Humans can’t see their own atrocity on earth, and this is a tangible reminder of the long standing folly of one track development. At the juncture of the two halves meeting in the sculpture, there is a slight distinction purposefully left by the artist to bring the eye of the viewer to the center of the work and engage with it.
