In the photo performance there is a shift in the notion of protection. Here I move from protecting the body to protecting the threatened spaces in the city I am associated with. I stand desperately trying to reclaim the fast vanishing history and culture, due to indiscriminate and mindless encroachment and re development in the Mumbai city.
Walking on the crowded roads and the beach allowed the public to get engaged with the work. They were
curious, some laughed, some stared, and some raised questions as they stopped by.
