Colour pigment used for tablets, capsules and syrups
135.1 x 181.6 x 5.1 cm
With the pigment for pain
Killers of sleepless nights
Offering relief to the body...
Merging with water, creating patterns,
The fluidity of sleep...
inviting the pigment to find its form
in the stillness that follows movement.
Settling into its own organic patterns...
A gentle rocking motion, the swaying of a cradle
A sense of lull as if being coaxed into sleep.
Tessellated meshes of my brain
unravelled and flattened onto this surface.
Over these colours...layer over layer...
A line oscillating between wakefulness and slumber
Between conscious and nonconscious...
Exploring the twilight spaces between wakefulness and slumber, Between darkness and light....
