Booth L06

This year at Art Basel 2026, Chemould Prescott Road presents works by Anju Dodiya, Dana Awartani, Desmond Lazaro, Dhruvi Acharya, Jitish Kallat, Lavanya Mani, Mithu Sen, Mohit Shelare, Shilpa Gupta, and Varunika Saraf.

Anju Dodiya reflects on uncertainty and resilience through fragmented landscapes shaped by personal and geopolitical realities, whereas Dana Awartani draws on sacred geometry to reveal enduring connections between mathematics, spirituality, and cultural memory. Desmond Lazaro brings together myth, science, and cosmology to explore humanity’s place within a larger universal order.

Dhruvi Acharya visualises the ecological consequences of human consumption and
Jitish Kallat’s material abstractions register planetary change, tracing the effects of climate, time, and transformation. Lavanya Mani uncovers histories of trade, extraction, and empire through plants that have shaped global movement and exchange. Mithu Sen transforms wounds into acts of witnessing, creating watchful trees that remember violence and survival.

Mohit Shelare examines the intersections of caste, waste, and toxicity through works rooted in material and social realities. Shilpa Gupta reimagines symbols of nationhood, revealing the fluidity of borders, and collective identities. Varunika Saraf celebrates women as agents of resistance, reclaiming devotional imagery to foreground power and change.

Together, these artists explore systems of connection, through bodies and landscapes, histories and futures, the personal and the planetary.
